This is not an April Fools! After almost 7 years, a popular speaker is returning! Sam Jaffe, of The Caterpillar Lab in New Hampshire, will bring his special caterpillar charm to share with us. You may have seen him featured in the recent film 'The Extraordinary Caterpillar', and he will be setting up his microscope and computer so you can witness firsthand the marvels he uncovers. In fact, Sam will be starting his Meet and Greet one hour early at 1 PM.

The Butterfly Society of Virginia is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our main purpose is to raise the general consciousness of our members and the public regarding the survival problems of butterflies and moths through publicity, programs and activities for both adults and children. We also promote butterfly and moth conservation, including conservation of butterfly habitats.
