Join the Butterfly Society in celebration with the Winter Wildlife Festival, featuring informational displays, butterfly and moth specimens local to the Tidewater region, and a video presentation of various species as they develop from an egg to adult. At this indoor event, we will also have information about raising them along with gardening tips to create that special pollinator and butterfly habitat garden.

The Butterfly Society of Virginia is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our main purpose is to raise the general consciousness of our members and the public regarding the survival problems of butterflies and moths through publicity, programs and activities for both adults and children. We also promote butterfly and moth conservation, including conservation of butterfly habitats.
